Jasper & Darlene’s French-themed Wedding

It was raining that day, but that didn’t stop Jasper & Darlene’s wedding from being awesome anyway.

First of all, the union of these two love birds is sentimental to us because (1) Darlene caught my bouquet on our wedding, and hey, true enough, she was next in line!; (2) The two of them chauffeured the beamer that took me and my husband to our honeymoon suite last year, on our wedding night, and it will forever be instilled in my memory how hilarious that ride was (insert PG13 inside jokes here); and (3) I’ve known Jasper since we were toddlers, and it’s a joy to see him grow from the bully that he was to the man that he is now, kudos to Darlene for being the woman behind it all. ;)

That being said, it was a pleasure being a witness to the wedding and the beautifully written love story of this two beautiful people.

Photographers (nay, paparazzis?) were all over the couple the whole night,
I was lucky enough to steal these shots right after the ceremony. :)

What can I say, Josiah’s Catering has always been known to throw the best parties in town, and can you expect anything less from the wedding of the very first Versoza sibling? Na-ah. And so for this one special night, since we all couldn’t go to Paris, the Versozas brought Paris to us!

The French Market -inspired buffet tables were just.. brilliant!
I love how intricately designed the venue was, down to the smallest detail.

But mostly it was the dessert table that I kept coming back to!
Ahh, happy tummy, happy preggy! :)

(The rest of these photos were taken with our D90, mostly by my husband, some by me, others by whoever’s hands were available to take the shots.)

Why hello, Eiffel Tower! I forgot to ask how they managed to bring the Eiffel Tower to Blue Leaf, by the way. I mean, come on, can I have that in my room? My friends and I had a merry time posing by the tower before dinner was served, and I love how the photographs turned out!

And there was me and my husband, and our little twins partying (and hoarding desserts!) with us. :)

Everyone dressed up like it’s prom. I see these people about twice or thrice a week, sometimes in their bad hair days too, and it’s refreshing to see everyone all cleaned up and made up for a night.

Here are more photos of the party people:

Finally, the night wasn’t just about a good love story, or good food, and the company of good friends. Ultimately, I went home with that warm fuzzy feeling that comes with knowing that no matter how long it takes, God makes all things beautiful in His time. I’m sure everyone felt that way too. :)

Congratulations, Jasper & Darlene! Your wedding is surely one for the books!
