This week on Instagram:

1. Kitties. I keep saying they’re my husband’s cats not because I want to disown them (whatever’s his’ is mine too, after all). It’s just that.. you should see how passionate he is about keeping them and taking care of them! No really. Between the two of us, he’s the one who takes these cats more seriously. He plays with them and buys them toys and tries out different brands of cat food until he finds something they really like. I don’t know which is more adorable—these cats making my husband happy, or my husband being crazy about them.

First two instagrams: Ashley, our siamese cat, has been with us for a couple of months already. He’s not very friendly, but can be really sweet when he wants something. Last two instagrams: Jimmy (I just invented her name just now LOL), on the other hand, is the happy stray cat my husband took in just the other day. Their personalities are soooo different. Ashley is quiet and reserved, while Jimmy is happy and jumpy. It’s funny how cats have different personalities.

2. Sugar rush. Yesterday, we had dinner with an old friend who’s visiting from Sydney and she got us yummy pasalubongs. I told my husband he can have the ref magnet, the Lindt chocolates are mine. LOL. Afterwards, we met up with our Thursday Group friends and hung out at our usual spot at Afters Espresso and Desserts. I’m trying to avoid coffee lately, so I skipped the Affogato and had a strawberry Gelato instead. No regrets.

I got my sugar cravings satisfied, check! Thank God for glucose, and friends.

3. Quality time. Husband sometimes moves his little work desk from our living room to the veranda to get some studying done. We only have one laptop at home, so whenever he’s on it, I find other things to do. Like take photographs. Or cook. Or read a book.

Or sometimes, I just sit in front of him and watch him work. It doesn’t matter what we’re both doing. My ultimate love language is time, and just having him around, no need for words, is my most favorite times of the week. :)
