Hey Phoebe, I swear I have high regards for people like you! :) Like I said to Kaith, I guess I was confident to take the leap then because I didn’t have a family to support. If I fail, then I’ll only be accountable to myself and myself alone. So hey, keep striving! Your efforts, I’m sure, will be very much appreciated by your kids, if not yet now, someday. :)

Yeah, I think that part is the most difficult of all. I guess I’m able to get by now because I don’t have a family to think about yet, and being the youngest in my family, I don’t have to worry much about, say, paying for a younger sibling’s tuition or something like that.

love this post rhiz..now, this one got me really thinking..but then again, the family is growing and so are the expenses..so i guess, i need to hang on to the 8-5 job a bit more..oh that’s a 7-4 job for me by the way, considering my loooong distance from work.

Home-based work gives you freedom in a different way. I sympathize with you when you say you are expected to attend family gatherings as if you don’t have work :) But still the creativity that flows into you when you work on your own, at your own pace is something you can’t get when you’re stuck in an office 8-10 hours a day. :)
